Kristine received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and her internship through Virginia Tech. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work at Norfolk State. She has over two decades of experience in the fields of eating disorders, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, functional gut disorders and women’s health. She is in the process of completing her certificate in spiritual formation at Columbia Theological Seminary.
She is a member of sports nutrition, eating disorder and women’s health practice groups.
Kristine has been published in local newspapers and national newsletters. She speaks locally and nationally on women’s health topics and eating disorders. She is very involved in local and international relief work and received the Jefferson Award for her community involvement. Kristine serves as the primary therapist with an orphanage in Kenya and is an instructor with Living Waters for the World .
Her unique approach to adolescent and adult health incorporates nutrition advice with lifestyle and behavior modification, body image counseling, emotional healing and spiritual growth.
